I approach couple photography as a story, not a list of poses. I like to get to know my couples beforehand, how did you meet? Are you comfortable with PDA? Are you adventurous or more reserved? Whatever I can learn about you to make these photos embody you as a couple, I will.

You won't be overly posed or micromanaged. Instead, i'll gently direct you into movement that feels natural so your photos feel timeless and real, like still frames from your own love story.

With every year it feels like you have a different child, birthday sessions are a great way to freeze the one you have right now in time. I love including their current obsession, anything from hot wheels to little pet shops.

Turning 1, or 2, or 3 or whatever age is a big deal! Kids change so fast, that's why I think it's so important to document them at every age. What are they into? What are their quirks? It's the little things you'll want to remember forever that deserve to be documented, oh, and also, how messy can they get while eating a cake?

What you can expect from your maternity shoot with me is curated poses to keep you comfortable, and someone who really understands how special these photos are. I typically recommend getting these photos done anywhere from 28-32 weeks., it really just depends on your bump, and how you're feeling. If you wait too long into the third trimester you might not feel like yourself!

Maternity sessions hold a special place in my heart. Being pregnant is such a fleeting season, filled with anticipation and so much love. I truly cherished being pregnant myself, and because of that I know how to guide you, highlight that pregnancy glow, and capture what makes this time so special.

With newborns I recommend taking these photos in the first week or 2 after they are born. It is much more likely they will sleep through the session, which allows for more posing and less stress. Always feed the baby just before I arrive, or when I arrive to make sure they are full and happy! We can always take breaks for feedings if they get fussy! I want this experience to be good for everyone in the family.

What got me really started in photography was doing self portraits. I think it's very easy to put yourself last, but in taking self portraits I gained confidence, created without pressure, and found a love for photos involving one subject. That's why I always encourage people to do what I like to call "self love" sessions. No matter the occasion, you deserve to feel beautiful and have photos of yourself that truly represent who you are. Even better if you are representing your own brand!
